Summer Commission & Print Special
June - August 2017
For a minimal price increase, you can get your digital commission as a giclée print up to 11x17 inches.
Giclée are archival, professional prints that are more resistant to aging. I specifically use Epson professional printers and according to their site, color should last up to 100 years and dark storage will last up to 300 years. They also claim that prints are smudge, scratch, water, and fade resistant.
These will be printed on high quality artist paper and will come in a plastic sleeve with a backing board. Large prints will be sent in cardboard, small ones will be sent in envelopes. All prints are sent flat. If USPS bends your print, take a photo and I will replace it asap at no extra charge.

What you get
This is a sketch done either in Photoshop or on paper (whatever I feel like unless specified in commission details) and digitally color in Photoshop. The color is usually flat, some light value may be put in (unless specified in commission details.
This is a personal use only digital commission. What you get is a high resolution (typically 300dpi) digital copy. The reason I give a hi-res copy is because you are allowed to print it for yourself. Personal use only means you cannot use it to make a profit.

Digital Landscape with Figure
Prices
Landscape with one full-body figure: $75
This is an alternative to $50 for landscape and $50 for figures.
Additional full-body: $35
Additional half-body: $20
Cost is adjusted based on the size of figures. If the figure(s) is small enough, I will only charge for the landscape.
Figures can be added at additional costs.
"Figures" include animals and human/humanoids.
Bits of architecture may have slight additional costs depending.

Custom Painted Hat
Price
Price varies depending on the cost of the hat, cost of supplies, and price of the design you want/work.
H+D+P+S=Cost
Let's say the hat costs $10, the design I am charging $30, paint cost $5, shipping cost $7. Your total cost will be $52. 10+30+5+7=$52
Typical prices for small designs are between $50-60
This may seem pricey for a hat, and for all designs you can buy from a store, I suggest you look there first. But if you would like a one of a kind hat designed especially for you - or if you would like one of my designs - then I hope you will be satisfied with my work.
About
I am now offering hat commissions! They are custom painted with acrylic using a fabric adhering medium. They are afterwards treated on the outside only with UV protectant so that your illustration stays vibrant through even the sunny days of Southern California.
You get to pick the hat! Select the hat on Amazon and I will purchase it OR you can purchase from whatever retailer you like and have it sent to me. However, you must send a picture or link a picture for me to confirm that the hat is appropriate for painting on.
If you don't want to pick, I can order one for you upon your approval. But note, I will order nothing nor work on the artwork until I am paid in full.

Payment must be made in full before I begin the commission.
2.2. That being said, you don't have to pay until I am ready to start your commission. I will take on a few at a time and let you know about when I can work on it.

I accept only PayPal or Check. Check must be accepted by my bank before I will start commission.
3.2. To reduce risk for both parties, I can not accept foreign checks (outside of USA).
3.3. If your country does not use paypal, I'm sorry but I can't make an exception.

Prices are set in United States Dollars (US$).

I currently cannot send physical products outside of the US
5.2. Therefore cannot accept commissions for physical items (hats and prints) for anyone outside of the US.

All commissions are strictly for personal use only, they cannot be used for business or profit.

I require image references.
7.2. If you have absolutely no references, you must give a detailed description.
7.3. And by doing so, you agree to accept that it may not turn out exactly how you imagine without opportunity to refund based on given policy.

With most commissions, I will keep and contact and have a sketch/thumb confirmation before starting the final work.

Please note that all except for the hand-painted hats, these are digital commissions. You will not receive a physical copy. I will email you a digital copy as either a jpeg or a png. It will be about letter size at 300 dpi. Size can be adjusted without charge when discussing details.

Please note that these are made on order, you will not get an immediate product. Commissions may take a couple of weeks which will be estimated in an email. Finish dates are approximated.

Note that your commission may be at a lower priority to another who commissioned first. If this is the case, your commission may take longer than normal or you can wait to send payment after I tell you I have finished other work that has a higher priority.

If you need it by a specific date, please let me know and I will tell you whether or not I can give you the finished commission by that date.

Thirty percent (30%) of payment is a non-refundable deposit unless refund meets special conditions.

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that the quality of the final image will be limited to my capabilities and information.
14.2. Therefore, you will not be offered a refund based on it being not what you expected.

If you would like something in a specific style that I've done before, please refer me to my artwork of which style you wish for me to replicate.

You will be given one opportunity to request edits when completed. These edits will be minimal; I will not overhaul the image.

If continual requests for changes persist and it impedes on other work unwarrantedly, I reserve the right to reject more changes and send you the final image. You will not be offered a refund.

Payment is an agreement to all conditions and policies stated.

I reserve the right to decline a commission and service.
Refund Policy

If I make a promise to make it by this specific date and am unable to hold to that time frame, then you will be issued a full refund but with no product.

However, if I miss the specified deadline because I am waiting on important details from you or design confirmation, I will not offer you a refund.

If for some reason you decide you do not want the commission during the Sketch/Rough phase, I will only refund part of the commission. Thirty percent (30%) is a commission deposit. I do this because I could have taken another commission instead and been working on something else and to discourage commissioners who are not taking the commission seriously. Be absolutely sure you would like a commission before paying.

Once I has begun the final painting, you cannot get any refund unless it meets special conditions.
